Graham Stuart ThomasThe flower heads of Achilleas are flat, close and solid arrays of tiny daisy flowers, mostly without ray petals. They are borne on stiff stems, last a long time in flower and are excellent for cutting and drying for winter.

Achillea Cassis is a semi-evergreen plant, with a tuft of foliage that stays over winter. It is available in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot. This versatile plant is not only beautiful, but also useful. It is a slow-spreading plant that adds interest to any garden with its feathery, narrow leaves.

The flat, clustered heads of flowers appear in June and come in a range of colours from pink to red and purple. These flower heads are made up of many small flowers with a yellow center. Native to most of Europe and West Asia, Achillea millefolium is also naturalized in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. It is commonly found in meadows and dry grassy places.

Achillea Cassis pairs well with many other garden plants, including Alchemilla mollis, Salvia nemorosa, Echinacea purpurea, and soft grasses like Stipa tenuissima. It truly shines in prairie plantings and will have multiple flowerings if trimmed regularly. This drought-tolerant plant is not too fussy and can thrive in poorer soils, making it a great addition to any garden.
