Agapanthus Tinkerbell is a semi-evergreen bulbous perennial from the Liliaceae family, also known as the African Lily. It is a useful plant for any garden, with some varieties being tougher than others. The narrower leaved varieties are generally more hardy, behaving like herbaceous perennials and losing their leaves over winter. The larger leaved varieties, on the other hand, tend to keep their leaves and require protection from frost or are better suited to coastal areas.

This plant is not picky about soil type, but it does require a good situation with plenty of light. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and responds well to a feed from late spring to flowering.
