With its dwarf growing habit, it can easily fit in the front of a border or in a pot on the patio. This plant produces stunning dark purple flowers, similar to the popular B. Black Knight, throughout late summer. It reaches a height of 1m and can be easily maintained at that height. The lance-shaped grey-green foliage adds to its beauty.

One of the best features of this plant is its versatility. It can thrive in a variety of soil types, including well-drained, sandy, loam, chalk, and clay. It also does well in both full sun and partial shade. With a hardiness rating of H6 (-15), it is fully hardy and can withstand harsh winter conditions.
