Standing at a height of 1m and easily maintained to the same spread, this deciduous shrub is fully hardy and can thrive in a variety of soil types, from well-drained sandy loam to chalk and clay. It prefers a position in full sun to partial shade and is hardy down to -15 degrees Celsius.
