Geranium psilostemon Patricia AGM
A wonderful variety and one of my personal favorites, Geranium psilostemon Patricia is a unique and stunning plant. Its large mounds of deep green foliage provide the perfect backdrop for its beautiful pink flowers with a black center. This hardy perennial is perfect for any garden, thriving in both semi-shade and full sun. It can easily be maintained to a height and spread of 50cm, making it a versatile addition to any border.

The Geranium psilostemon Patricia is a herbaceous perennial that is grown in a 2 Litre pot. Unlike greenhouse geraniums, this variety is hardy and can withstand temperatures as low as -15 degrees. Its deep green foliage and pink flowers make it a standout in any garden, and it is happy in most soil types, from moist to well-drained, sandy to clay. It can also tolerate full sun to partial shade, making it a versatile choice for any garden.
The Geranium genus is vast, ranging from small alpines to large perennials. However, the hardy perennial Geraniums, also known as Crane's Bill, are generally easy to grow and a great addition to any garden border. They are low-growing, making them ideal for ground cover, and can be trimmed back after the first flowering to encourage regrowth and a second flowering. In winter, a good mulch will provide all the nutrients needed for the plant to shoot away in the spring.
