Hydrangea macrophylla King George
A lace cap variety of Hydrangea, the King George is a unique and stunning addition to any garden. Its large, flat flower heads are a beautiful shade of red, but the colour can vary depending on the acidity of the soil. With a lower pH, the flowers will be a deeper red. This hardy shrub grows quickly in the beginning of the season, producing luscious bright green leaves and vibrant flowers throughout the summer. The flower heads can be left on the plant for added interest or trimmed back for a tidy appearance.

Once established, it is fully hardy (H5) and can withstand temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius.
