This unique product, Panicum virgatum 'Heavy Metal' - AGM, is a large growing deciduous grass that is perfect for a sunny spot in your garden. Its standout feature is its large tuft of metallic blue grey foliage, which can reach up to 90cm in height during late spring and summer. In addition, it produces large panicles of purple flower spikes on stems that can reach up to 120cm in height during summer. As the season progresses, the flowers fade to a beautiful golden brown colour, creating an impressive autumn display.
